Zones and fares
Fares depend on the zones you travel through. Zone 1 is central London; Zones 2–6 cover the rest of Greater London, with Zones 7–9 beyond it. Pay as you go with an Oyster card or a contactless card and the fare is capped each day.
Airports on the Tube
Heathrow is on the Piccadilly line in Zone 6, with stations at Terminals 2 & 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. Other London airports connect by rail or coach, not by Tube.
